For the record, this should read '2011 Beer of the Year.' Probably my bad.

Perhaps your bad, but I should have noticed too. I've updated it :)

THis beer was such a pleasure to drink. I think it bucks the stereotype that sometimes comes with porters and dark beers. It wasn't syrupy, or dominated by only rich chocolate or coffee flavors. it was complex and light on it's feet for the style IMHO.
