Campbell_bookTuesday, June 28 at 6:30 p.m. the Stony Brook Center for Food, Wine and Culture will play host to author Christy Campbell, author of "The Botanist and the Vintner — How Wine was Saved for the World" at Stony Brook’s Manhattan Campus, located at
401 Park Avenue South at 28th Street,

2nd Floor.

Admission is free and includes a wine tasting and, of course, you’ll get to hear Mr. Campbell discuss his book. Autographed copies will be available for purchase.

While free, seating is limited, so you need to call Ginny Clancy, Program Coordinator, at 631.632.9404 to reserve your seat.

I can’t make it into the city on a Tuesday night often, so I won’t be there, but I am about half way through the book right now and I can tell you I’m REALLY enjoying it. I wish he were coming out to Stony Brook’s main campus (which is about 15 minutes from my house).

Check it out…it’s not often that there’s an interesting wine event that is FREE.
