By Bryan Calandrelli, Niagara Region Editor Jonathan Oakes and his crew were in the vineyard early this morning collecting frozen vidal blanc grapes for Leonard Oakes Estate Winery‘s 2012 Icewine of Vidal Blanc. With a call time of 4 a.m. the crew got the last grapes into bins by 7 a.m. and have already begun pressing.
