The Wine Bloggers Conference, a yearly event that helped inspire my own annual TasteCamp event — is coming to the Finger Lakes wine region August 13-16, 2015.

A great ‘get’ for the region — any group that can get this event off of the west coast deserves kudos — it should bring much-deserved attention to one of the most exciting wine regions in America. A press release from Finger Lakes Wine Country said that organizers are expecting 300 attendees.

There will be more information available soon, but in the meantime, here’s that press release:

2015 WINE BLOGGERS CONFERENCE COMING TO FINGER LAKES WINE COUNTRY, NEW YORK

300 Wine Bloggers to Attend Conference in Corning, NY August 13-16, 2015

(Finger Lakes, NY) July 13, 2014 – The 2015 Wine Bloggers Conference will take place August 13-16, 2015 in Corning, New York. Hundreds of citizen wine bloggers, industry bloggers, and other wine and social media professionals will gather from throughout the world to meet, learn, and share at the eighth annual conference and the first one to ever come to New York.

Attendees will gather at The Radisson Hotel Corning to spend two days wine tasting, learning about wine, networking, and of course blogging. This is an excellent opportunity for Finger Lakes wineries in particular to showcase their wines to a very perceptive and influential audience.

Finger Lakes Wine Country Tourism Marketing Association’s President, Laury Poland, made the announcement of the 2015 location tonight at the 2014 Wine Bloggers Conference in Santa Barbara County, CA.

very cool – a tip of the cap to whomever did the work to land this event for the FLX. I assume it was the folks at Finger Lakes Wine Country.
