Fortunately, I have found that when your focus is making great wine, you need more space for visitors to park. Word of mouth has spread quickly for us among the wine loving public, and we are grateful.

The old Bellangelo lot was a small and narrow gravel patch. We expanded it to enable handicap parking and make said parking directly accessible to a handicap ramp. We also expanded to make it more navigable for vehicles to enter and exit since there were a couple close calls in the parking lot at peak visiting times.

I have tried (3) of the bottlings the 239, Ovid Line North and the 110. i really enjoyed the #239 and the 110 was pretty good as well.

Being a former bus driver, I feel the expansion of the parking lot is much more important than the wines. It just depends on your interest and needs.

*Minor writing quibble

If you’re going to emphasize that Villa Bellangelo is focused on making good wine before anything else, as the writer mentions in the fifth paragraph (“Before anything else, the Missicks are focused on the wines.”, you shouldn’t immediately follow that by describing the expansion of the visitor parking area.

With that internet troll comment aside everything listed in the bullet points sounds exciting and definitely lends credence to VB’s new focus on progressive winemaking.

We’re eight months late to this thread, but wanted to let folks know that CJS Vineyards produced 14cases of our 2010 semi dry Riesling in magnums. The 2010 Riesling is a wonderful wine and we wanted to offer larger bottles to our regular customers for aging. We’re a very small winery, but think there is a market for high quality Finger Lakes Riesling in 1.5L bottles!
