The LENNDEVOURS Comment Policy

In some ways this is a sad day. When I created LENNDEVOURS almost 4 years ago, I never thought that I’d need to formalize a comment policy. But, in the interest of civility and nurturing open, honest discussion here on LENNDEVOURS, I thought it time to craft one.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to move forward with comments running the same way they run now, unmoderated. That’s one of the most annoying things in the blog world (to me anyway). Having to wait to see a comment you’ve made posted just sucks.
oops. I found a typo in the policy.
“but I reserve the write to delete any comments that include”
should be:
“but I reserve the right to delete any comments that include”

Rather than a sad day Lenn, you should be proud and happy that so many people pay attention to your efforts that you need to have a policy regulating comments. (It’s also sad that people can’t control themselves on the ‘net as they would in a face to face conversation)
A policy is good. But like so many things, you hope you never have to use it…
