I must admit that I'm a huge fan of cool climate reds; pinots and boths cabs. Some of the Finger Lakes pinots are incredibly complicated, and I think the shorter growing season and smaller yields help cool climate vinters produce a very different product than their sun-baked, water starved California counterparts.
