Lieb Family Celalrs — Recent Releases

Lieb Family Cellars, located on Route 48 in Mattituck, NY on Long Island’s North Fork has long been one of our favorite wine country destinations. The tasting room is small when compared with some of the opulent buildings and tasting rooms around, but the pouring staff (which sometimes includes Mrs. LENNDEVOURS) is super friendly and knows there stuff too. Wolffer Estate Wines Reviewed at Vinography.com

It was only a matter of time before Long Island wines made their way out to the West Coast and onto the world’s premier wine blog, Vinography. Okay, so maybe I pushed time a long a little bith with a few emails and phone calls, but regardless, Alder tasted through some of Wolffer Estate Vineyards’ current releases, and while he lost a couple bottles to cork taint, I think they showed pretty well. I was disappointed that his bottle of Estate Selection Chardonnay was corked…because I think it would have been right up his alley. But hey, it happens. See…
