Well, it’s Friday and I’m finally getting around to posting my entry for Wine Blogging Wednesday #40, hosted by everyone’s favorite Wannabe Wino. Of course, is she really just a wannabe? I could have titled this post "The Pain of Writing for a Quarterly." Why? Well, as you can read in Newsday, Macari Vineyards has acquired Galluccio Family Wineries on Main Road in Cutchogue. Mark Harrington does a nice job telling the story, so I won’t. But why the other possible title? Well, I knew about this about a month ago, and put it in my upcoming column for Edible East End. And, I agreed to give them the exclusive and not write about it anywhere else.
