New York Helps New York: An Auction for Hurricane Sandy Relief

The New York Cork Report, in partnership with wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants and other organizations across New York State to hold an online auction to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.

All proceeds will go to Occupy Sandy, a coordinated relief effort to help distribute resources & volunteers to help neighborhoods and people affected by Hurricane Sandy. We are a coalition of people & organizations who are dedicated to implementing aid and establishing hubs for neighborhood resource distribution.

The NYCR is facilitating the auction. No monies will come to or move through us and our staff is donating it’s time to run and administer the auction.

How it works: The auction will run from XX to YY.

All of the auction lots are listed below. Simply go to the page for the item you’d like to bid on and put your bid in the comments (ensure that you use a valid email address so we can contact you if you win). If your bid is the winning bid, we will notify you via email.

At that time, you will be asked to make your donation to Occupy Sandy via XYZ. Once you receive your receipt via email and show it to us, we will let the organization donating the item you won know that they should ship it to you.
