I know that many of my LENNDEVOURS readers also read my column "Over the Barrel" in Dan’s Papers out on the East End of Long Island.

With that in mind, I thought it important to mention that the column that is running this weekend, focusing on Palmer Vineyards, has been edited heavily and is quite different from what I submitted originally.

Writing for ad-supported publications can be a challenge and it certainly has its pitfalls. That’s one reason I love blogging so much, I can write from the heart (and the palate) without any pressure from any outside sources.
