Amy Zavatto wanted to be a writer pretty much… always. Stumbling over a barrel into wine writing was a happy accident for which she is forever grateful, stained teeth be damned. She regularly writes about wine, spirits, and food for Imbibe, Edible Manhattan, Wynn Magazine, Foxnews.com, and others. Her work has also appeared in Details, More, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Food & Wine. She is the author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Bartending, Eat NY, and co-author of The Renaissance Guide to Wine & Food Pairing.

Amy holds an Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits from the WSET and lives, eats, and drinks in the fair city of New York. She grew up on Shelter Island. Go Indians.
